A guild is an association of people for the pursuit of a common goal.  It also refers to a group of plants that work in mutually beneficial ways.  These keynotes are at the heart and soul of our endeavor. 

Tapalou Guilds is a first generation family owned and operated, flower farm in Guilford, VT.  

Our efforts strive to evoke beauty, connection, joy and presence through being with nature, flowers and the creative process.

Our farm offerings include, wedding & everyday flowers, farm stays, children’s programming and a canvas for our creative expression.

We relish in the opportunity to co-create a life that focuses on the synergy between form, energy, emergent curiosity and whimsy.

Truth be told, my eye travels across the landscape on a carousel of color cloaked in the feathers of seed. My spirit momentarily catches hold of the sensual, dipping and diving through nature divine. The Retreat Farm hosted me for a flower arranging workshop tonight. It was great fun. It’s a big, amazingly gorgeous barn and people couldn’t hear me so I was given a microphone. Public speaking doesn’t shake me, apparently until I’m given a microphone and then it’s a whole new shebang. I felt so nervous holding that much voice. I asked people to go around and share their, “why flowers?” and what happened didn’t surprise me but it was striking to feel. My entire energy with the microphone changed. Hearing all those people sing the praises of flowers completely opened up my heart and released all the anxiety of taking up space with a big voice. Flowers. Every single time with these beings. I’ll share my “why flowers?” in another post. Anyways, great joy to be with people and flowers in the beautiful North Barn. I hope to go back to the Retreat Farm so we can stew up more co-creation and good cheer. Gratitude to the folks who came, it was a pleasure. Thanks for having me and our flowers! @retreatfarm
